diversion

here and back again...

there's a tragedy that happened to me twice last week... and it involves police traffic... nope, i'm not having any speeding tickets or illegal curb side park ticket... it has something to do with a diversion...
yup, a diversion... have u ever been in a situation where the police just divert your route... yeah, i admit... the road is congested... but isn't it will be the same if u diverted all the car the other way... HELLOOO... THE OTHER ROAD WILL be CONGESTED AS WELL...
2 incidents... one in jalan kuching... and another in jalan sultan ismail... damn... what are the policemen are thinking... "sinking" with german accent..
in both cases, it means more time on the road...
diversion in jalan sultan ismail is the 'BOMB'... because of the diversion, i'm seating in my car for about almost 3 hrs... the route that should only take 1-1/2 hrs the most w/o the diversion...
diversion in jalan kuching ended up with a tour to segambut, kepong and damansara... traffic there is worse compared to jalan duta... DANG...

ALHAMDULILLAH.. i've got new member in my family now.. Anis Sofea.. Born on 11/09/2008 at 7:49 am.. i'm so glad that both the baby and my sister is safe..

i just got back from Miri this evening.. arrived on time for buka puasa..

the chopper from Falcon got delayed and i'm a bit rushing to catch my flight to KL after touched down in Miri Airport at 3.20pm.. my flight to KL depart at 4.15pm.. lucky for me i did managed to catch the flight.. or else, i've to wait for the next flight at 6.15pm via Kuching to get back to KL..

i was onboard for about a week.. work for about average 2 days but get paid for 8 days.. DANG..

i'm currently down with a bad flu and i'm glad my offshore job have been postponed until Saturday. so i will only go to Miri on Friday evening.

something funny happened yesterday. i made myself on a tour for 20 mins inside the departure hall of KLIA. arrived there around 6.40am by airport limo (picked me up around 6.00am) and take a airport limo back to shah alam by 7.00am. yup, this would be the result of last minute cancellation of chopper schedule. i've spent about 3-1/2 hrs (6.00am ~ 9.30am) inside a car on beautiful tuesday morning. on taxi back n forth to KLIA, drive to work in a very bad heavy traffic. well thats how it works if you are working.

and the overal result of this, went back early yesterday (about 3.30pm).
Kaboom, the out of office reply as above. hihihihi

yup.. going off to KK this early morning eventhough i've known for a fact that my chopper to Falcon have been canceled.. stay in KK and fly to Miri the next day, thats the plan.. hopefully i'll be onboard by Thursday or i'll died of boredome in Miri..
i prefer to be straight onboard falcon rather than staying back in town.. get the job done and back in one piece.. but hey, face it.. thats the reality of ONG life.. unpredictable..

Look at the title. I'm part of it now. Work Work Work. Non-Stop. The load is quite heavy for me at the moment. Looking for substitute. Hopefully the newbies will learn fast so that we can devide the load equally. Yup, i admit. When i started working, i'm like heavy no where to go. LOST. But hopefully they can find the way really fast by themselves.

I'm goin off again this Monday to Miri. Maybe for about a week. Hopefully. We'll see the progress. The following week i have another scheduled meeting in Miri. I think i can make it by then.
Work is to the max at the moment but all i can say now, somehow it give me some satisfaction. Finding the right tunes at the moment. Let search for it.

if anybody could tell me a valid reason why there should be policemen blocking the road in Jalan Duta just to see all the motorist squeeze into a small lane, i will buy you dinner..
basically, whats the purpose of blocking a very heavy traffic after the toll from 4 lanes into 1 squeeze lane..?? what can you gain from it.. one thing for sure, you get an angry motorist pass by.. lucky for me today i've decided to go off early and the traffic is not that bad yet.. but seriously, it is useless..

one thing that really shocked me is the statement to open UiTM to non-bumiputera... yes, it is good to brings up healthy competition... but as we are all knew that UiTM is the one institution that is helping bumiputera... hopefully UiTM will still stays as UiTM for bumiputera...

permatang pauh election day is coming close... hopefully it can end in happily manner without any real incidents that can ruin the harmony of Malaysian...

yeah.. finally i'm back.. after almost a month back and forth between Miri and KL, i can rest for awhile in KL.. from the schedule, looks like I can be off from offshore until mid of August..
pros and cons..

offshore life is a bit different.. but if u can survive it, it will be rewarding.. as for me, offshore life is quite cool.. as long as it is not too excessive.. :p

Some state's govt have been formed... Some are still waiting for Sultan's approval... Lots and Lots of things have happened for the past week...

the new era have to proof to Malaysian that they are capable enough to be re-elected in the next general election...

I'm bored in the office so i took an initiative to call a long lost friend of mine while waiting for the plant to reply my email before i can submit the data sheet to the client... called her and she seems to be in a good mood... hehehehe...

after we talked and laughed for few mins, the topic change to a very strange topic...
"What if I say I used to have a crush on you before...?" I said
"You are not serious right...?" She questioned
"Well, what if I am... What if it is true... I used to like you...? Used to have feelings towards you..." I'm trying to convince her
"Nah, it can't be true... You are not serious..." She told me that I was lying
"No, seriously..." I said
"Actually, I also liked you before but its like way past..." She confessed
"Ooh... Really...?" I'm speecheless for few minutes

YEAH... and for me, what's past is past... the present is what matters the most...

Just Like Before...

Fuihh again... another long break for my blog to carry on... actually I'm planning to extend my blog's holiday but being pushed around by someone who really wanted to read something here... so, this post is for u my dear...

A lot of things happened to me for this past 2 months in this 2008 year... All that i can say is ALHAMDULILLAH for all the blessings... Can't ask for more on what I've got for the past 2 months...

12th February 2008 was my first chopper ride... Super Puma...

12th February also was the first day i went to a rig... Atwood Falcon...

everything went smooth for my first offshore trip... all in all, lots of new stuff learnt... no pics... sowey... on the rig, everything have to controlled... to take pict on the rig, u have to apply for PTW... so, maybe next time... hehehhee... Can't wait for my next offshore trip... c'mon west berani... just swift through the wave and spud now...

fuihh... after a long break for this blog, now i'm back... safe n sound and i'm back...

its been a hectic weeks for me... straight from Aidilfitri till now... haven't got much time for myself... hahhaa... firstly, have to handle the business for about a week coz everyone else is taking their aidilfitri holiday... 4th raya and i'm back in the office... lucky for me the business is not so tough on that week... it have been easy for me... hehehhe...

2nd week of raya is quite normal for me... still working though... thought of getting myself a break a week after but "WALLA", i'm in kemaman for almost 2 weeks... hahhahha... work for life... just got back from kemaman yesterday...

while i was there... lots and lots of things happened...

the most remembered was the blackout in Awana Kijal... hahhaha... there's a blowout in the TNB substation and it cost the whole hotel to be in dark for about a minute... luckily there's a backup generator but the light was so romantic and its steamy inside my room... so i decided to spend my time by the beach... turn out to be nice tho... nice breeze by the ocean...

it followed by a fully booked AWANA... managed to stay there only till saturday... we were buzz out of it that day... hahhaha... We did managed to booked ourself with the suite tho but because of our good hearted, we checked out and when to another hotel... CHEAPER... hahahhaha... Cukai Utama Hotel... from A class to D class... hahahha... with no coverage of my mobile phone inside the room... hahahha... neeway, the hotel is occay... brand new and still nice... after all, it somewhere near the town... so it is more convinience... close to DCni Kopitiam and that is where i watched the game... MANU 2 - 2 ARS Damn... Man U shud win the game... Demmit...

will be in KL for the moment...

Today is 2nd of November and I'm still stuck here in KSB... eventho it is a weekend here in Kemaman, but I still have to work since KL office is still operating... ISK ISK ISK...

First of all, many apologies to all since I can't make it to your open houses... The invitation in EXTRAVAGANZa but it is so sad that I'm not around... Anyway, thanks for the invitation... Hopefully I can make it for next year... ;p

I have to extend my stay in Kemaman till I don't know when... Out of clothes, out of hotel room... Awana is fully booked for the weekend till next week... Hopefully I can squeeze into some available rooms there... Too tired for hotel hunting...

hmm.. its been almost a month since i last wrote here.. the last entry was in the first day of puasa itself.. now, its on the eve of 25th Ramadhan.. sorry.. i cant access my blog in the office unlike some peeps :p
when im home, im too lazy to even turn on the laptop..

ALHAMDULILLAH.. its the first day of RAMADHAN..
my prayers to Indonesia citizen.. earthquake here and there.. hopefully they can go through the month of ramadhan with a strong heart..

its a fresh morning today and i woke up late.. ahakkss.. its my first time using the SMART tunnel this morning.. as for me, nothing grand bout it except that maybe it helps me to reach the KL office faster..muahhahahaha..

yeah.. currently i'm in Singapore.. AGAIN.. it is only a week gap between my last trip and this trip..

ouh cay.. here the thing.. top of the list of the most wanted list, none other than the Canon 400D kits.. yeah.. gonna loose lots of money there.. wahahhahaha.. hopefully i could get the best bargain available for me.. the cheapest currently, RM2690 but it comes w/o the bag.. so sad..

as a whole, the month of August and September are pretty much the same.. nothing unusual happened.. its all the same for me..

allrighty.. i'm goin off now.. going for dinner then dozz off..
hopefully i will make it to the morning flight tomorrow..

yeah.. its payday today.. actually its yesterday.. weehoOo..

so, I'm in Singapore at the moment.. been here for about 5 days and going back to KL tomorrow.. its like a travelling month for me.. KL-Kemaman-KL-Labuan-KL-Singapore-KL.. damn tiring man.. I prefer it this way.. much better than stuck in the office.. most probably I'm gonna travel again on the first week of September.. again, to Singapore..

this is my first time to Singapore.. its a clean and nice place here.. but a bit hectic to see the people trying to rush through the day.. everything needs to be done fast.. its a good thing though.. but sometime, i just like to sit back and relax while enjoying the scenery..

its been like 27hrs since i arrived in Labuan yesterday.. nice place with nice people around.. the best part is, i am living in a 3 rooms service apartment all by myself.. kinda boring actually.. HUHU..

yeah.. watched Simpsons the Movie for the 2nd time.. being called an idiot twice by Homer because i watched the Movie.. hahhahhaha.. eventho i'm watching it for the 2nd time and i'm kinda prepared for the kicks, i's still laugh out loud because watching it will make u at least giggle all the way.. HUHU ;p

so, i spent the evening with two most lovely person in my life: Nadhirah and Yusrina.. many thanks to the girls.. a lot of catching up changes hand because we have not met each other for quite sometimes..

today is the day.. the day for retail therapy.. the therapy that makes my budget loosey goosey..

the 3rd item in the most wanted list can be deleted now.. already bought a pierre cardin backpack for laptop.. kinda nice and practical.. can get something better but too lazy to wonder around the shopping complex..
the price tag: RM 169.00 with a 20%.. so, u do the math.. i am too lazy to think at the moment..

i just got back from catching up around with friends and all.. lots and lots of catching up to be done around shah alam.. things got overturned damn fast.. <--mind the language..

so now.. the list is left with:
1) Volkswagen GOLF GTi
2) CANON 400D

yeha.. but i am very sure that the list can get longer from time to time.. wahhahahaha..

yeah.. updating the list before..

1) GOLF GTi: it will cost me something like RM200k (roughly).. making full loan, RM2.6k/month.. damn.. even my salary have not reached that par yet.. but insyaallah, if everything goes smoothly.. the target is somewhere like 5 yrs before i could own this beE-a-YOu-tEe-fuLL..

2) CANON 400D: will cost me roughly about RM3000.. looking forward for it in near future.. let say 2-3 months time.. waiting for u ustadz n we will going straight for business..

3) backpack: found one in midVaLLey.. cost around RM200.. really need it.. URGENT..

as for other things.. there will be a lot more.. but at the moment, these are the top three.. HEHEHE..
a new desktop PC in the room and a DVD player with a theater set would be nice.. :0 (2 yrs plan)

yeah.. just got back from Kemaman yesterday.. been away for about 2 weeks and lots of things happening around here..

lots of things being told and being learnt while i'm in Kemaman.. Work wise and Life wise..

one thing for sure now.. trying to live my simple life now.. its the best to stay low and lay low.. just like old days..

hmm.. let see.. its been months since i last wrote anything here or anywhere as a blogger.. and i'm writting again but not sure for how long it will stay.. :)
